The creation of Chrissy Keepance, vintage stylist and founder of The Lindy Charm School for girls, the event was a chance for lovers of pin-up, vintage and all things retro to enjoy a day of cocktails, swing dancing and fun.
The QT Hotel Gold Coast is well known among tourists and locals on the Gold Coast for its mid-century inspired decor and was the perfect setting for the stylish event.
Chrissy said the QT was a fitting location for an event to celebrate everything wonderful about pin-up, vintage and mid-century culture.
“We get to dress up, wear fabulous clothes, and when like-minded women, and men, come together in this community of awesomeness we feel safe. And the clothes of that era really fit to flatter as well, ” she said.
