The Gold Coast turned on one of its signature perfect sunny days for last Sunday’s Last of Summer Pin Up Pool Party, organised by Miss Chrissy of The Lindy Charm School for girls.
And what better way to celebrate the end of summer than at the fabulously retro-inspired QT Hotel Surfers Paradise’s deliciously kitsch pool and cabanas.

The party was the second in a series of free events that are the brainchild of vintage maven Chrissy Keepence, and was attended by gorgeous pin-ups, swing dancers and vintage enthusiasts from Northern New South Wales and Brisbane, along with Gold Coast locals.

In between tropical cocktails and swing dancing, photographers snapped away at a sea of gorgeous guys and girls.
Event organised Chrissy Keepence, founder of The Lindy Charm School for Girls said she strives to produce an event that’s friendly, inclusive and all about acceptance.

“We get to dress up, wear fabulous clothes, and when like-minded women, and men, come together in this community of awesomeness we feel safe. And the clothes of that era really fit to flatter as well, ” she said.
