A Charming Day Out – QT Hotel Pin Up Pool Party Events Featured Pin-up by Francie Flathead - January 30, 2017January 30, 2017 A bevy of Queensland’s finest pin-ups and vintage enthusiasts descended on the retro-inspired QT Hotel Surfers Paradise on Sunday for the very first Lindy Charm School Pin Up Pool Party. The creation of Chrissy Keepance, vintage stylist and founder of The Lindy Charm School for girls, the event was a chance for lovers of pin-up, vintage and all things retro to enjoy a day of cocktails, swing dancing and fun. The QT Hotel Gold Coast is well known among tourists and locals on the Gold Coast for its mid-century inspired decor and was the perfect setting for the stylish event. Chrissy said the QT was a fitting location for an event to celebrate everything wonderful about pin-up, vintage and mid-century culture. “We get to dress up, wear fabulous clothes, and when like-minded women, and men, come together in this community of awesomeness we feel safe. And the clothes of that era really fit to flatter as well, ” she said. Event organiser Chrissy Keepence of The Lindy Charm School for Girls.
